About this tracker

  • Prices shown are published vendor rates converted to AUD. USD prices converted at approx. AUD 1.55 per USD. Exchange rates vary - check the vendor site for current local pricing.
  • Prices are verified quarterly. Vendors change pricing without notice, always check the vendor's website before purchasing.
  • AU data centre column reflects whether the vendor offers Australian-hosted infrastructure for business data. "Partial" means some data may be stored in AU regions depending on plan and settings.
  • Affiliate links are marked. They help support this site at no cost to you. Our reviews and recommendations are independent of affiliate arrangements.

How this tool works

How the pricing tracker works

The tracker is a database-driven comparison table, not a quiz or a calculator. Each row represents one AI or SaaS tool and shows its category, free-tier availability, starting price in Australian dollars, and an SMB or team plan name and price where one exists.

You can filter rows by writing, productivity, automation, sales/CRM, accounting, security, healthcare or compliance. Filtering only changes which rows are displayed. It does not rank tools, calculate a score or recommend a product.

How to interpret the data

The free-tier field uses Yes, Limited or No. The AU data centre column uses Yes, Partial, No or Unknown to reflect whether the vendor offers Australian-hosted infrastructure for business data. These labels are comparison fields, so a business should consider the relevant plan rather than treating every status as applying identically across all vendor offerings.

Prices are published vendor rates converted to AUD. The tracker does not predict later price changes, so users are directed to confirm the current rate on the vendor’s own site before purchasing.

Verification dates and worked example

Every row has its own last verified date. That displayed date is the review date for that row. The tool checks it against a 90-day staleness window. Once a row is more than 90 days old, it is flagged for a recheck instead of being presented as though it has recently been confirmed. There is no single review date that automatically applies to the whole table.

For example, a small business filters the table to security and compares two rows. The first row shows Yes under AU data centre, so that status itself needs no further clarification for the comparison. The second shows Partial. Rather than treating it as equivalent to Yes, the business checks with that vendor to establish exactly what Partial covers for the specific plan it is considering. It can then compare the two statuses alongside each row’s free tier, plan information, AUD pricing and last verified date.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tracker calculate which tool is best?

No. It displays and filters comparison data, but it does not score, rank or recommend the rows.

What happens when I select a category?

The table narrows to rows assigned to that category. No other values or weightings are changed.

What does a Limited free tier mean?

It is the row’s free-tier classification. The table uses Yes, Limited and No, but does not calculate the value of the included features.

How should I use a stale-row warning?

Treat the row as needing a recheck. The warning means its last verified date is more than 90 days old, not that every displayed field is necessarily incorrect.

Are the AUD prices guaranteed at checkout?

No. They are published vendor rates converted to AUD, and vendors can change pricing without notice. Confirm the current price on the vendor’s site before purchasing.
